Catalyst for impregnation
Technical data sheet
Europhtal additive 8020: is mercaptan oxidation catalyst used for charcoal carbon impregnation for fixed bed reactor in kerosene sweetening unit
When kerosene, jet fuel, heavy cracked gasoline are treated, the catalyst is impregnated on a active carbon (charcoal) in a fixed bed reactor. Charcoal carbon is selected with special properties and special grade for efficient impregnation of the mercaptan oxidation catalyst.
A fixed bed catalyst allows oxidation of heavier mercaptan found in jet fuel, kerosene, heavy cracked gasoline and others.
Application
Europhtal additive 8020 is a liquid catalyst used to impregnate charcoal in situ. This additive catalyst is tailor made to be used in fixed bed sweetening units without solid formation. It is specially employed to sweet heavy hydrocarbon like kerosene and heavy gasoline.
Advantages
Europhtal additive 8020 allows to:
- Sweet heavy hydrocarbons
- Improvement catalyst life
- Improvement run length
- Have any solid formation
- Ready to be use
- Easy handling.
Benefits
In addition to a high activity mercaptan treating catalyst, Europhtal offers a monitoring of performances during the run of catalyst in order to improve reaction parameters.
